Number of Indian Billinaires - Is this really a matter of pride ?

After reading this article I was not sure if this is really a matter of pride for us ( I am sure the popular press would make it out to be one ). At one end we have this 'elite' billionaire club and on the other hand we still have the poorest of the poor who couldn't feed themselves... capitalism at it's best!! This only goes to show these 'reforms' have only benefited the upper crest and if at all there was any trickling effect to the masses it hasn't happened at the desired pace.
